The entry canopy we provided Convergent Media is a unique feature specifically designed to reflect the company’s high-tech, future-facing philosophy. The structure consists of twenty contoured support uprights, fabricated from 1/2″ thick aluminum plate. The spaces between these vertical members are spanned by adjustable louver blades. We finished the entire structure in a high gloss silver metallic paint. Precise fabrication and installation to close tolerances were required to ensure that all 280 blades rotated smoothly on their shafts. In addition to creating a dramatic impression on visitors the canopy also encloses the shady semi-circular courtyard surrounding their entry lobby.
