The Largest Project Ever Built in Miami

9 Acres • 5 Towers • 5.4 Million SqFt

Because our work was of impeccable quality and always either on time or ahead of schedule, AMJV repeatedly awarded us additional scope that other contractors had failed to deliver as promised.

Our work on the site includes the crisp silver ACM cladding around the building crowns and on the undercut soffit areas that mirror the bold angles of the roofs far above. We also clad various columns throughout the mall area and the open bracing and facades of the two pedestrian bridges. At the 8th Street Metromover station we built the handrails around the platform, the decorative metal enclosures around the stairs, and we clad the support structure. We also built the lighted wayfinding signage overlooking the train platform. In fact, our work around the platform was so extensive that other contractors on the project began calling it “Henry Station.”

Henry was proactive and involved to meet with the Owner and design team during preconstruction as well as during a detailed value engineering effort after project award. Henry was able to react to the demands of the project and meet accelerated detailing and fabrication schedules on a complex project encompassing 3 city blocks and involving 5 buildings and 2 pedestrian bridges. The quality of the work and coordination is reflected in the finished products. Henry’s ability to adjust to the logistics and sequencing of the work on a tight project, often requiring night work and atypical conditions was a key factor in delivering the project. We would not hesitate to recommend Henry for similar work.
